Nairobi, Kenya - East Africa Unanimously Endorses Raila Odinga for AU Chairmanship


In a groundbreaking move, East African countries have today unanimously endorsed Raila Odinga, Kenya's former Prime Minister, as their candidate for the African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship. This endorsement represents a significant milestone in Odinga's bid to lead the continental body.


The East African region, comprising of countries like  - Burundi, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania,DRC and Uganda - has thrown its weight behind Odinga's candidacy. His experience as the AU's High Representative for Infrastructure Development and commitment to transforming Africa into an economic superpower have positioned him as a strong contender for the position.


With this unanimous endorsement, Odinga's campaign has gained substantial momentum. He is now well-positioned to galvanize support from other African countries and lead the continent towards a brighter future.
