"Samia Bugwe Central Constituency Reminds MP of Responsibilities
Honorable Members
Regards
From the concerned members of SBC
We are writing to remind you of your critical role as our representative in the August House. As our elected representative, it is your responsibility to listen to and voice our concerns in Parliament.
We would like to bring to your attention the key aspects of your representation role:
- Constituency representation
- Advocacy
- Community engagement
- Accessibility
- Responsiveness
- Accountability
- Representation in committees
- Plenary representation
- Legislative representation
- Symbolic representation
Unfortunately, we have noticed that you have often ignored the voices of ordinary people in our community, claiming that it is not your role to listen and represent our concerns. We strongly disagree with this notion.
As our representative, it is your duty to:
- Listen to our concerns and issues
- Represent our views in Parliament
- Advocate for our needs and interests
- Be accessible and accountable to us
We feel that your detachment from the local people has left our community without clear representation. We urge you to take your representation role seriously and work towards being a true voice for our community.
We would appreciate it if you could:
- Hold regular town hall meetings to listen to our concerns
- Respond to our queries and letters in a timely manner
- Provide updates on your work in Parliament and how it benefits our community
Additionally, we would like to express our appreciation to your sister, our woman member of parliament, for the saucepans, plates, and cups she distributed to some villages. However, we would like to point out that some villages have not yet received these items, and moreover, people lack food to use with these plates & saucepans. We kindly request that you consider ways to improve production of goods and services, household income, education, infrastructure, health, skills, and other essential services.
Based on your performance Mr honourables would u really want us to send you back to parliament? If yes basing on what? Surely we haven't liked this version of omutindo
Sincerely,
Concerned Citizens
